Welcome to MindShift InterAction, an event showing how we can create the shift of our minds needed for the well-being of the planet and humanity. Choose from a buffet of tracks exploring what MindShift is – in Action! You will be guided through the event by members of Klustret Ekskäret – a space, a community and a co-working hub, for people and organisations who are committed to creating a sustainable, flourishing and more conscious society. We will lead tracks within the areas we are most competent and curious, and we invite you to join us!


We will start off together, setting the context with a short video from the November-event (read more below) and have a talk with founder of Ekskäret Foundation, Tomas Björkman. After that you choose from a buffet of tracks that in different ways explore how we can live the MindShift. We finish the day together with harvesting what we learned and have a video mingle.

Here is some background,

The 20th of November, Ekskäret Foundation, Stockholm School of Economics and Karolinska Institute Center For Social Sustainability, organized an online meeting with some of the leading thinkers in organizational development in our time, called MindShift. Two weeks later, we are organizing MindShift InterAction, focusing on how we can Interact and put this mindshift in Action. We will broadcast a short video from the event to set the context for us all. You are welcome to join us regardless if you attended the 20th or not.

Shifting Minds – Leadership Development in Our Times

Track A

The complexity of our times combined with inflexible bureaucratic structures leaves many organizational leaders in over their heads. How can we develop a leadership fit to face this challenge? While horizontal development is helpful by adding new skills and knowledge, vertical development is aimed at growing the mind in a way that enables leaders to think, feel and act in systemic, complex and interdependent ways.

In this workshop we will share and experience different ways of vertical development, with special emphasis on The Leadership Circle. This is a powerful tool that integrates vertical, adult development with cutting edge leadership theory. You will experience the inner forces that enable or hinder your best leadership version. In essence, we will jointly show the way  towards more conscious, sustainable and humane organizations.

Vi är mer lika än olika så låt oss gemensamt hitta orden för vad vi upplever och känner. Dela på drömmar och misslyckanden. Byta ut rummen där vi låtsas. Till rummen där vi är. Får tillåtelse att vara. Oss. 

Vi vill ge dig tid att känna in, känna igen och landa mjukt. Utrymme att veckla ut din karta. Skala av lager skydd, attribut du inte behöver. Lyssna efter svar och riktning från en annan plats än det intellektuella. Vad säger sårbarheten?

Hur kan vi stärka våra förmågor att navigera, förnya och skapa värde i en omvärld med ökande turbulens och komplexitet? 

Hur kan vi skifta vår syn på och hur vi utvecklar ledarskap och organisationer för att frigöra mänsklig potential och organisatorisk drivkraft?

Delta i ett gemensamt utforskande kring dessa frågor med utgångspunkt i några inledande perspektiv och modeller från vår sida. Ambitionen är att alla som deltar ska ta med sig minst en aha-upplevelse och ett praktiskt verktyg för att börja tänka och göra lite annorlunda.

The role of parenting develops many highly valued insights and skills that are also needed at work and in leadership. Like resilience, organization, prioritization, team building, creativity, empathy, trust… These desirable skills are the same skills needed to meet the ongoing changes and complexity of our modern world.

Join us to explore how this resource can benefit companies, employees and societies.

Medvetande-utveckling och meditation

Vår omvärld ser ut som den gör på grund av, eller tack vare, den medvetandenivå från vilken den skapas. Vissa kallar den egots medvetandenivå. Ett lika naturligt steg som puberteten, i vår personliga medvetandeutveckling. De flesta människor tycks, dessvärre, stanna på den nivån.

Mikael berättar här  hur du i  meditationen och i stillhet kan ge näring åt din fortsatta medvetandeutveckling. En utveckling som världen desperat tycks behöva.

Du får också tillfälle att prova på en mycket kraftfull typ av meditation som hjälper dig nå nivåer inom ditt medvetande som du tidigare inte haft tillgång till. Du kommer med tiden uppleva ökat inre lugn, minskad oro, minskad stress, lättare att släppa motgångar och gå vidare, mm.

Sessionen avslutas med en frågestund.

Exploring Emotional Intelligence using Liberating Structures

Emotional Intelligence (EI) – Why is it key in the 21st Century? How does it support us to makes sense of and thrive in disruptive times? Each of the 12 competencies of EI represents a doorway to develop positive human qualities; together they allow us to exercise greater compassion, resilience, and clarity in our relationships – professional and personal – and in our lives. It builds our internal capacity for change effectiveness and teamwork.

We will introduce the overall framework of EI and the neuroscience behind how we can grow and nurture these competencies and then zoom in on a few key competencies.

The session is highly interactive and you will have the opportunity to explore and learn using Liberating Structures, facilitation techniques that you can re-use with your team and organisation to enhance collaboration and innovation.
